Measure every component and describe the orientation used during packing. A carton that is loose can allow glass or hardware to move, while a tight fit can make loading and removal difficult.
A small folding carton, sleeve, rigid-feeling box, or insert-ready structure may suit different channels. Tell us whether the package is sold individually, as a multi-pack, or inside a larger kit. The opening sequence should make the correct product and included components easy to identify.

Inserts, Protection, and Product Organization
An insert can keep cartridges separated, present a device at a consistent angle, and reserve space for an instruction card. Die-cut board, folded partitions, or another reviewed structure can be considered according to the component dimensions and quantity. Do not assume a stock insert fits every cartridge, cap, or battery.
Share the complete kit, protective wrap, and shipping route when the package will be mailed. The presentation carton and outer shipping layer may have different jobs. Any breakage, leak, child-resistance, tamper, or performance requirement should be specified and validated by the responsible product team.
Print, Label Space, and SKU Control
A clear front panel can identify the brand, product format, size, and approved variant information. Side and back panels may need ingredients, warnings, directions, batch fields, barcode, company details, and jurisdiction-specific copy. Reserve those areas before artwork is finalized and keep key text away from folds and insert edges.
White stock, kraft, spot color, full-color print, matte, gloss, foil, embossing, and spot UV can support different brand directions. Finish should not reduce readability or cover a required panel. Your regulatory, quality, and brand teams should approve every product, age, warning, dosage, and claim statement.
Retail, DTC, and Compliance Review
A dispensary, specialty retailer, event, or direct-to-consumer program may each use a different pack-out and information hierarchy. Plan the display orientation, label surface, security feature if required, and outer shipping carton together. A product package should not be assumed to meet a jurisdiction's rules merely because it uses a particular material or structure.
For the outer parcel, compare custom corrugated shipping boxes. For a branded wrap around an existing carton, custom packaging sleeves may be an alternative. Discuss the actual market and product requirements with qualified compliance personnel before approving production.
