Custom Tea Boxes
Custom Tea Boxes for Retail, Tea Rooms, and Gift Sets
Choose a Tea Box Around the Inner Pack
Tea packaging begins with the primary pack: sachets, individually wrapped bags, pouches, tins, or a loose-leaf liner. Measure the finished contents and the loading sequence before choosing a carton. A box for twenty tea bags needs a different depth and divider plan than a sampler with several flavors or a gift collection with a scoop.
A folding carton can create a tidy shelf face, while a rigid-feeling gift structure may suit a premium assortment. Share whether the box will be filled by hand, at a co-packer, or by a retail team. Clearance should make loading practical without allowing sachets to slide and hide the flavor information.
• Tea-bag cartons with organized flavor panels
• Sampler boxes for several blends
• Loose-leaf cartons around a sealed inner pouch
• Window and gift formats for seasonal assortments
Materials, Windows, and Tea Presentation
White board gives bright illustrations and color-coded blends a predictable base; kraft or uncoated stock can support an earthy visual direction. A window may show sachets or a pouch, but it changes the panel area and should be reviewed with storage and the primary package. Request a proof on the actual stock when pale colors matter.
Print the tea name, blend description, preparation guidance, net quantity, barcode, and approved company information where customers can find them. Keep important copy away from folds and glue flaps. A restrained matte, gloss, foil, or embossing direction can emphasize the brand without making information difficult to scan.
Organize Flavors and Brewing Information
Tea ranges often include black, green, herbal, chai, decaffeinated, and seasonal blends. A shared dieline with controlled color and typography helps shoppers compare varieties and helps staff select the right carton. Reserve space for ingredients, allergens where applicable, brew time, temperature guidance, lot fields, and other approved copy.
If each carton holds individually wrapped bags, show the count and arrangement in the artwork brief. If it holds a loose-leaf pouch, do not treat the outer box as the product barrier without a specific packaging review. The inner package, storage conditions, and intended shelf life should guide the specification.
Tea Samplers, Subscriptions, and Shipping
Sampler boxes can introduce several blends without requiring a full-size commitment. Dividers, pockets, or a simple internal tray may keep small packs in order. Subscription and DTC programs also need an outer mailer or shipper review so the retail carton is not carrying transit duties it was not designed to handle.
For an outer delivery layer, compare custom corrugated mailer boxes. For a presentation around an existing pouch, custom packaging sleeves may be more practical than a second carton. The complete pack-out should be checked before a recurring program begins.
